Blondies Have More Fun

Cinnamon may be my favorite of the flavors.
I steer clear of that Red Hots, set your mouth on fire kind of cinnamon. No thank you. I gravitate toward the warm, I go well with vanilla and fireplaces type cinnamon. Cue cozy feelings now.

So how much better could cinnamon get than wrapped up in a blondie? I found this recipe by, admittedly, clicking on an Internet ad. This is the first time that doing such proved to be a good thing (The Kitchenarian is a cute blog!).

These bars were so easy and turned out perfectly. I actually prefer them to brownies.
But, then again, I am a blonde.

Cinnamon Blondies

Just a few simple ingredients.

Melting the sugar and butter.

Then the egg.
Mixing dry and wet.

The oven send-off.

And afterward.

I never wait until they cool. Never. Ask my tongue.

Trying to enjoy in moderation.

I had to give the blondies away so as to avoid our staring contest.
